Our publications include the Employment Law Practical Handbook, the OH&S Handbook, the Smart Tax Handbook and a number of other business related products.

Our aim is to take complex legal information and edit it to produce publications that can be read, understood and actioned by a layperson – without the need to consult high priced lawyers, brokers or consultants.

Our products contain independent, unbiased material and all our writers and contributors are experts in their field – from safety specialists and employment lawyers to tax advisors and HR professionals.

A high percentage of Portner Press customers are owners, directors or managers in the fields of finance, employment law, workplace safety or HR, and operate within small, micro and medium sized companies (SMEs).

In January 2009, Port Phillip Publishing created Portner Press in response to growing demand for its business related products.
